#HOW TO USE MASTERCONTROLLER SIMS 3 UPDATE#
This means that while it's highly recommended you update them every time you upgrade to a later patch level, it's often not strictly required. You can help The Sims Wiki by expanding this section. Script Mods This section is in need of additional information. As of October 1, the new website is up, although many links and content from the old site remains missing. Prior to this, a new website at was being developed, although the old Wikispaces site remained up and continued on as "business as usual" until September 30, when the site was shut down. On September 30, 2018, the NRaas website hosted on Wikispaces was shut down as outlined by the closure of Wikispaces. Since then, other members of the NRaas community continue to update Twallan's mods. He released the source for his mods for other modders to release and update to patch 1.66 and above here. More information about this in the following sections.Īs of January 5, 2014, Twallan retired from updating his mods. Some mods have optional modules, which require the respective mod to be installed. They may be installed all at once, just one, or any combination in between. NRaas mods can be installed independently.

NRaas Suite maintains many mods for The Sims 3, including MasterController, Overwatch, and StoryProgression, amongst others. This whole thing, which looks terribly complex, actually takes about 5 minutes around each of my sim's pregnancies.NRaas Industries is a website that is created by Twallan. I also use a mod which prevents culling and moving, to complete the deal. Sometimes, I use Debug Enabler to generate random Sims, which I then (via Master Controller) marry to some neighbor and have them have babies.Later on, when all of these babies age up, and my sim meets them around town, I use Master Controller to see which lifetime wish they have, and which are their traits, and I give them a job more or less related to that information. Then, I use Debug Enabler to synchronize their pregnancies with my sim's, so they all give birth at roughly the same time.Whenever my sim gets pregnant (or adopts), I go to neighborhood view, and use Master Controller to "pollinate" several other Sims (around 5-7).I use Nraas' Master Controller and Debug Enabler (among several other mods), and do the following:

I started a new one, again with Maxis' SP, but this time, I do all the work. It was quite better in terms of lag, but it still didn't generate enough babies for my sims to interact, still had missing co-workers, and the mechanics of the mod broke my savefile in the long run. My town became a ghost town in no time: no babies, no co-workers, nobody at public lots, and the members of my family (living in other lots) got culled away. I even changed the settings to "snail" speed (for the story Progression), and it was still very bad. I tried Nraas' SP from the get-go, and my game was super laggy it took me ages to learn that this mod was the one causing all the lag. This year I got a new GPU and went back to TS3 for good. Then I went to TS4 because my good GPU died, but my fun also died. I played TS3 from 2010 to 2015 (on and off). Disclaimer: I'm running TS3 in a great computer, so I use all DLCs, Store content, CC, mods, high settings with little to no lag.
